A lover of numbers, logic and promoting natural business evolution, I have had the drive to succeed and help others succeed since an early age. My 30-year-strong career commenced at multinational firm BDO from 1989 to 1994 before joining a Shire based firm with the intent to provide large firm expertise within a small firm personal service framework to SME’s within the local community.
I made partner in 1997 and since then I have overseen the progression of that firm into the multifaceted Maher Group, which remains one of the largest and most respected integrated accounting firms in the Sutherland Shire today.
What gets me out of bed every morning, is my desire to provide holistic financial advice to entrepreneurs and business owners, and to closely support their financial wellbeing as they achieve business growth, goal achievement and wealth creation in a balanced work/life landscape.
As a Chartered Accountant and registered tax agent and company auditor with a Bachelor of Business degree, I have a diverse cross-section of skills and extensive business experience. Actively involved in industry training, I also serve as a member on several company boards.
When not at work you’ll find me on the golf course, actively supporting the Sharks, enjoying all sports, travelling and spending time with my wife Jenni and 3 beautiful daughters, Capri, Cassidy and Kobe.

I have always been into numbers, so a career in accounting and finance seemed inevitable. I enjoy helping people and their businesses succeed, as well as keeping the message uncomplicated, without the usual industry jargon.
With over 20 years of experience in both corporate and private practice, including two years working in the UK with a major multinational company, my main passion is helping our small business and trade clients who appreciate my direct, no-nonsense communication approach.
I spend my spare time volunteering at North Cronulla Surf Club, having patrolled the beaches for over 20 years, competed in surfboat rowing and served on the board of directors as the honorary finance director for over 10 years. If I’m not at the beach, on the golf course or the basketball court, I can be found with my partner and daughter out and about enjoying our beautiful Shire.

I am passionate about helping others, both through my work and within my community. Having worked in customer and client service roles most of my life, what I love about working at Maher Group is the ability to combine my financial mindset with my natural propensity to help people in their everyday lives and support them in achieving their goals.
Having worked for the best part of a decade in the audit division of KPMG Sydney, I traded the corporate city life to work close to home and family with Maher Group in 2015. Since then, I have led Maher Group Audit while also pursuing my interest in small business. I am passionate about helping our clients get ahead. I'm on this journey with them every step of the way. When they succeed, I succeed. This is what drives and inspires me every day.
I am lucky to live and work here in the Shire, calling Bonnet Bay home. I’m a family man with two amazing and very adventurous boys. My weekends are mostly spent coaching junior soccer teams, swimming and bushwalking. I love sport, particularly football, and you will often find me cheering on the Sky Blues. I am also passionate about giving back to the community, having been a volunteer leader and Honorary Treasurer of a local youth group for over 15 years.

I got into banking straight from school as many of my vintage did. I have remained in the finance industry ever since because I get great pleasure in being able to help first home buyers take that first step on the property ladder as well as being able to assist those more experienced in the property market get a better deal or expand their portfolios.
Married to Roseanne with 2 adult children, I have lived in the Shire since 1997. I love my sport and as part of being a supporting parent, have been involved in many junior sporting clubs, serving on committees as well as being a life member of a local cricket club.
